The Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra has recently set up a Study Centre, named as Srimanta Sankaradeva Study Centre, to initiate and support academic activities on the various aspects of the great saint of Assam Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva. The Centre would initiate and support study and research activities on contributions of Sankaradeva in the field of literature, dance, drama, music, painting and other areas. This Study Centre was inaugurated on 1st March 2016 and is now in an initial stage. Presently it has a good collection of books apart from age-old manuscripts, thesis papers, etc. Kalakshetra Society is contemplating to introduce courses on Performing Arts under this centre.
